hey jude...

jude porter mayfield was born on 11.11.08. he was 9 lbs 4 oz.

needless to say, grace had a c-section..

here she is, moments from being wheeled into the operating room.

i had to wait outside of the surgery room until things were ready for me to come in and take my seat. first of all, it had to have been 25 degrees out there... i was so scared. i was shivering from fear and coldness. i went in, and within moments, i saw this:



that's our little dude. he had quite the cry. we thought a 14 year old came out.

they cleaned him up and checked the sweet man's little vitals.

then i got to show our little man to grace. what an overwhelming moment.

what an amazing moment.
