Merry Christmas 2009

Here are a few pictures from our first Christmas in our home.

Jude was lots of fun.

His favorite present? A box of diapers.

He hugged them. Twice.

Jude loves Thanksgiving for the same reason I do. I get to eat.





He had a few appetizers... I think that might be shaving cream.

This was definitely the spoon from dessert.

November 11, 2008 -- Jude's 1st Birthday

The poor little guy was a bit sleepy for his first big day.

It started off nicely, playing with mom on the couch.

Then it was time for cake.
Not too sure what to think here.

Not a fan of the fire. Haha.

Okay, that's better with no flame.

Do we like the cake? Grace made it especially for Jude in her cake class.
It was really, really good.

But Jude didn't like getting messy. He was seriously ticked off.

So we played with balloons.

Jude LOVES balloons.
(best way to his heart, right there)

And then the sleepiness set it.

At 7pm.

A good first birthday for our little, or I guess now, big guy.

I cannot believe he is one.

I almost forgot...

Jude's first day of school back in August.

This is seriously adorable.

Happy Halloween (in January)

First order of business is the October 30 Halloween at the Zoo event.

we live a stone's throw from the Nashville Zoo. We got a pass so we could enjoy the zoo at our leisure. This is our first trip with the man.
ps - Jude is here while I'm updating this, and saying "baby" to the computer screen.

This is our little guy at 7 months. He's so much fun. Very into things.
And dressing up, apparently.

we're trying to train him well. Even at 8 months he is really, seriously drawn to music.
Primarily the piano.






Also, at 8 months, he wants to touch everything all the time.





The heat of summer is on!
We went all out - I'm talking high-rollin' here, guys.
We bought a pool!!!!


For $15 at Target. Yup.

And, at 8 months, Jude loves it!
